Lloyd McDaniels: Chief Operating Officer Lloyd attended the U.S. Army War College and the Pennsylvania State University to attain an MS in Strategic Studies and an MS in Polymer and Material Sciences. He also attended the Command and General Staff College. Lloyd is a retired Colonel of the United States Army. He has had many years of experience involving increasing levels of responsibility in managing military and government civilian personnel, missile defense systems, and management consultant services. Lloyd is the owner and CEO of LDM Services, LLC. LDM provides consultant services to major defense industries to resolve problems with their programs or design strategies to ensure success in the competitive market. He is also the Chief Operating Officer for Global Defense Associates (GDA). GDA is focused on conducting global business in the defense marketplace. They offer system development and integration engineering as well as import/export support with an emphasis on high technology defense and aerospace systems. He is responsible for leading Global Defense Associates and is also currently a consultant to senior leaders of the Department of Defense. Mr. McDaniels initiated the Army Program to integrate currently developed new air missile defense systems to provide the Army and Nation greater capabilities to protect deployed forces and critical assets or installations within the U.S and throughout the world. Michael Doubleday: Chief Executive Officer Mr. Doubleday is the CEO of Global Defense Associates and the President and CEO of Excelerate Inc. In December 2004, Mike founded Excelerate with a focus on supporting customers interested in doing business in the international defense marketplace while ensuring adherence to the appropriate U.S. regulations. He is an Electrical Engineer whose career began in the design and development of complex missile systems. During the Reagan Star Wars era he was employed by Martin Marietta in Orlando, Florida working advanced programs. He then moved to Huntsville, AL, home of U.S. Army's Redstone Arsenal, where he worked on various advanced systems in the Guidance & Control, Simulation, and Modeling areas. He quickly assumed increasing management roles and technical responsibilities in an expanding technology base to include sensors, algorithms, models, simulations, integration tasks, test equipment, training, and much more. The switch from domestic to the international defense community came in the early 90's. From 1997 – 2000, Mike had the unique opportunity work abroad as Managing Director of a new United Arab Emirates (UAE) office. In this position, he continued applying technology while simultaneously learning the details of international export controls, financing, contracts, negotiations, cultures, business practices, and the other factors necessary to ensure success in the international defense marketplace. Upon returning from the UAE, Mike served in an executive capacity growing business and applying technology to the international defense marketplace. |
